No organization can grow without a strong membership base.
LGB Patriots will form as a 501 (c)(4) non-profit so that we can be politically involved for LGB issues and rights, can endorse political candidates and be endorsed by candidates, plus those serving elected officials from any political party. We remain non-partisan.
Also, as a 501 (c)(4) non-profit, we are not required to disclose donors and supporters.
Membership lists will be TAGGED as LGB or LGB Supporters who are either not LGB or who DECLINE to disclose.
The separate membership lists are imperative to be able to cite accurate numbers of supporters by list. These lists will remain the PRIVATE, PROPRIETARY PROPERTY of LGB Patriots with the goal to keep them private as we legally may.
